Drive Electric Maine

OUR MISSION

At Drive Electric Maine, we believe in a sustainable future powered by clean energy.

The transportation sector accounts for the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions in Maine (49%) according to the most recent emissions report from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Maine Won’t Wait, Maine's Climate Action Plan, outlines key strategies to reduce transportation emissions, including 219,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2030.

Drive Electric Maine is focused on educating and engaging consumers, legislators, utilities, and dealerships to implement those key strategies toward achieving our state’s transportation decarbonization targets. Our mission is to increase plug-in EV adoption in Maine by providing you with all the tools, resources, and information you need to drive electric.
